Welcome to the RPMud Network.
Based on the original RPIMUD Network, founded by
Wade Gustafson in 2005, the RPMud Network is dedicated to providing
high-quality services to the roleplaying-oriented MU* community. Some
of these services include a regularly-monitored (and thus highly accurate
and up-to-date) game database, an unbiased game review process, and
citation-friendly journal publications. Through an open, elected
committee, we hope to fully represent all games within the roleplaying
genre, including those not traditionally labeled as MUDs, and pledge to
operate with the fullest transparency.
Please note that we are non-profit, and operate
solely out of the pockets of those on the operating committee. We do
not, and will not, endorse games through individual paid advertisements; we
will, however, accept anonymous donations. We also welcome
those talented writers who are interested in producing high-quality
submissions for our online journal, Emote.
